Gallery - 3D Printed scale model of the 22RE Engine

God will not have his work made manifest by cowards. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Multi-colored 3D-printed Toyota 22RE engine model on a workbench with fuel-injection rail, copper fuel rail, and exhaust pipes First test fit of all major components Here are all the biggest sub-assemblies all together for the first test fit. I forgot to take any pictures of the process before this point.
3D-printed 22RE engine model mounted upright on a teal stand with intake manifold and cyan cooling fan Test fit is a major success Every component fits where it should and spins when it should!
Colorful 3D-printed engine cutaway model showing bronze camshafts, an EFI fuel-injection block, and a black exhaust manifold It's the small details that bring it together The cylinder head was the most complicated thing to put together. Here it is half fixed down for its first dress rehearsal. Blue valves for intake and pink valves for exhaust. Most of the support pieces will need to be reprinted later on.
